At Caskshare, our ethos is reserve, mature, enjoy. All you need to do is reserve your share, enjoy access to our membership perks whilst your whisky ages and once it’s ready, your bottle will be shipped direct to your door.

Buying your bottle early means you get access to the best price – getting in on the ground floor has its perks. Our price tiers show you how much your bottle will be the closer it gets to bottling.

However, accessing the best price for your bottle isn’t the only benefit of reserving your whisky in advance. We are proud to work with up-and-coming distilleries – some of which have yet to release their core single malt. By shopping at Caskshare, you can purchase whisky from these distilleries years before the rest of the world gets to see their unique character and craftsmanship.

Here are just a few of the younger distilleries where you can exclusively get their oldest releases by reserving your bottle with us.

Holyrood

Holyrood is a contemporary distillery in the heart of Scotland’s historic capital, Edinburgh. Inspired by their surroundings, Holyrood are dedicated to shaping the spirit of tomorrow. Founded in 2019, Holyrood Distillery is the first distillery to begin making whisky in Edinburgh for close to 100 years.

As a newly established distillery, Holyrood are yet to release any single malt of their own. Other than their gin and new make – which is excellent if you haven’t tried it – any whisky fans out there are unable to purchase their whisky.

Enter Caskshare. We acquired four new-fill casks from Holyrood Distillery last year with the intention of bottling them when they reach 10 years old. By reserving a share in these four casks, you can buy whisky from Edinburgh’s most recent distillery years before everyone else.

Isle of Raasay

In 2020, Isle of Raasay made waves in the whisky industry by releasing their delicious inaugural release single malt. Since then, they have expanded their core range as well as offering some limited edition bottlings from their Na Sia range.

As it stands, Raasay Distillery has yet to release any whisky over five years old – simply because they have only been distilling since 2018. By shopping at Caskshare, you can reserve bottles of Isle of Raasay whisky as old as 13 years. Our two ex-Four Roses casks filled with peated, and unpeated, Isle of Raasay spirit are wholly exclusive to Caskshare.

Ardnamurchan

We were chuffed to secure three sister casks from Ardnamurchan Distillery in 2021 when Caskshare first launched. At that time, Ardnamuchan only just released the first of their core range, making us an early adopter.

We bottled the first of our Ardnamurchan casks in 2021 at six years old, making it one of the oldest single cask Ardnamurchan releases on the market. With the remaining two casks from Ardmanurchan still maturing, you can still buy your share in the oldest Ardnamuchan available through Caskshare.

Whether it’s to access the best bottle price available, or to secure bragging rights of owning a share in the oldest cask from these distilleries, Caskshare’s got you covered.
