Single malt and single cask bottlings from Dailuaine Distillery are rare and limited with the lion’s share of Dailuaine whisky being used in Johnnie Walker blends.
Most of Dailuaine’s barley is malted in-house, fed into ten wash backs and their six stills. Their water is drawn from the local Balliemullich Burn, producing a heavy and meaty unpeated spirit. Dailuaine Distillery will remain in the history books as the first ever distillery in Scotland to be fitted with a pagoda type roof.
